For the longest time, I accepted these as defining traits of who I was…that was until my healing journey began.
As I began peeling back the layers of my past experiences, the most significant breakthrough occurred when inner child healing transported me to the trauma of my birth.
Born 5-weeks prematurely, I was separated from my mother and placed in an incubator for safety, but my inner child perceived it as abandonment. My baby self felt like she had entered this world alone, unloved, and unworthy.
Tears flowed as my body re-experienced the pain from 30 years ago, allowing me to release the energy that has been held in my body and created dysregulation in my nervous system since birth.
In this moment, I knew I had finally reached the root of it all. It felt like a massive breakthrough.
A couple weeks later, I happened to experience my first ayahuasca ceremony. I was shown the success of this inner child healing I had done and I was told I had healed one of my biggest block in this life time. Mother ayahuasca celebrated this self-liberation with me.
Internally, I could feel this newfound confidence & self-love. Physically, I no longer experienced asthma symptoms. But also, externally things shifted too.
Within a month of this breakthrough and healing…
